## The Constant Wardrobe — How Your Information Is Used

 

The Constant Wardrobe, a feature on this website, suggests outfits based on today's weather and, if you choose, your calendar. Here is exactly what it does with your information.

 

**Weather.** If you allow it, your browser shares your approximate location with Open-Meteo, a weather information service, so the app can show today's real local weather. This happens directly between your browser and Open-Meteo — Maison Fidelis never receives, stores, or has access to your location. If you don't allow location access, the app simply falls back to a general seasonal estimate instead, and nothing is lost.

 

**Calendar (optional).** If you choose to click "Sign in with Google," you are signing into your own Google account, in your own browser. We only ever ask for permission to *read* your calendar — the app can never edit, delete, or add anything to it. Only the titles of today's events are read, once, so the app can guess the day's occasion (for example, recognizing words like "dinner" or "black tie"). This information is never stored, saved, or sent to Maison Fidelis or any other third party — it stays directly between your browser and Google. You can disconnect this access at any time by clicking "Disconnect" in the app, or by removing access in your own Google account settings.

 

**No account required.** You do not need to create an account or give us any personal details to use this feature.
